Happy Friday! What's on your table this week?

Post by Justintime »

Here's a fun one from my week. An old family photo, the oval frame long lost, came in with only a sprayed gold hand cut oval mount remaining. The photo had originally been mounted onto board and was quite warped. Rag mounts and uv99 used, Larson moulding and a Wessex gold slip.

The best framer in West Wales.

You know more than I will ever about mounts. Is that a paper overlay or a thin solid core board over the original gold mount?

Thanks StevenG!
Stop it! vintageframes I ditched the gold mount for a double rag mount, crescent mountboard from Wessex. Level 1 job.
