I've got to make some frames for some quite big photographs (about A2)
Customer wants opening backs so he can swap them round periodically.
Flexible points won't be durable enough and I don't really like turn buttons as they are a bit fiddly and are proud of the back of the frame so can mark the wall.
Anyone got any clever ideas for putting a removable back into a wooden frame?
Thanks.

If the moulding is deep enough, make a wooden subframe that is screwed into the frame.

How about canvas offsets reversed so they sit in the frame. The customer can then just unscrew them to replace the photo and screw them back.

I'm assuming that the photo will be sink mounted and not hinged, for the customer to swap out the prints?

How does this client intend to mount this photo and what are their expectations for it staying flat over time?

The bow springs lion sell are good as they are screwed in and keep the work to the front.
Re: Pictures with opening backs
I used to use these https://www.lionpic.co.uk/p/9531/Spring ... d-pack-200
for such purposes. They were great because you can bend them slightly to get just the right amount of pressure on.
But... The last lot I got had a habit of spontaneously breaking at the screw hole which was very embarrassing.
There are other versions that I tracked down but very expensive.
