The end of my second career has arrived. I started framing as a hobby around 1993 after my wife attended some evening classes. That hobby grew over the years until I retired (at 53!). Initially worked from home for a couple of years and then took a lease on a shop.
From that time until now I have had a wonderful time framing some items I never dreamed of seeing/touching and met a group of people who have been so generous with their time and knowledge - a massive thank you to you all.
After I hand the keys back to the landlord we will be packing up the house and moving to Wiltshire to be closer to our children and grandchildren. Then it’s all woodturning and dog walking in the countryside. Apparently a new framing business is opening in our future new town - I might pop in and say hello.
Finally, and once again, a massive thank you to you all I wish you good fortune in all your lives and ventures.
