Framers in the North East?

Post by RobM »

Hi All,

I was just wondering if there are any framing trainers based in the north east of England, or near enough by?

I've had some very useful training with some good people so far (Ian Kenny in Lanarkshire and Jim Anderson in Notts - both highly recommended and who I'll undoubtedly be speaking to again). However, as I'm still on a learning curve and constantly finding new questions, it would be useful to know if there's anyone based a bit closer to Tyne and Wear, who could perhaps help for a single day at a time (or even less).

Hi Rob

There's always additional support via Skype as an option. As trainers we've done remote business consultations with framers based at a distance from us - and on technical helplines (Guild and Larson Juhl) we've used Skype to video chat and problem solve with framers around the UK. I'm sure Ian would be happy to schedule some time in for you when you need it.

That's a good point, actually. I recall yourself, Ian and others communicated quite freely on Skype when I was up in Hamilton.

I might well try this at some point.

Thanks Jo, I appreciate it.
