Thoughts on the number of views on a thread

Post by JFeig »

Is it my analysis training or is there something wrong with the data reporting of number of views on some threads.
Some threads seem to report an historical average number of reads while others appear to have a dramatic readership reaching into the multi-thousands.

It is my thought that this dramatic increase in viewing is the result of this forum being hacked by computer reading bots. Art there filters that can control this?

It’s happened before, this time around was mentioned the other week. I don’t think it’s anything sinister.
