I have this compressor från Jun-Air. It has started to leak air from the compressor itself.
Only holds (?) air for 10 minutes before it starts again.
I have removed the hose (?) so I know it’s the compressor leaking. I have emptied the water. Will try ”water with bubbles” tomorrow when my son comes and help me.
Any known problems? Places I should look? Any suggestions are very welcome.
(Sorry for any strange words. My English vocabulary in this area are poor.)

Re: Compressor Jun-Air leaking
Your English language skills are excellent.
You have not stated the age of this compressor.
From a standpoint of finding exactly where the leaks are the use of a "bubble test" is the gold standard for moderate leaks.
It consists of making a weak solution of dish washing liquid and water and then applying it with a brush or mop in areas where you think the leak might be. Where you see some bubbles that is the actual location of the leak.
Other than the hoses and connections, including a drain at the bottom of the tank, the next most likely location might be the head gasket of the unit. If the leak is in the body of the tank, most likely caused by corrosion/rusting of the steel wall, there is no hope of a safe repair.

Re: Compressor Jun-Air leaking
I had the same issue with my compressor
Mine is a larger ABAC unit but it also only held air for about 10minutes before it started again
It was a small valve that went into the tank that had perished
Only cost about £30 and it's good as new.
If you have a small pipe from the main unit into the tank try taking a look at where that connects. If it's perished it's not registering as full and turning the unit off. Instead it's running all the time and trying to refill

Thanks!
On my way there now with my son. He is confident that he will find the error and fix it! I’m not so sure.
The compressor is from 1994. Is that old?

Is this a valve?
My sons opinion is that this is the thing that’s broken. In Swedish it’s called backventil.

That might be it
Take it apart and see if there's a rubber gromit inside.
Worth looking

Re: Compressor Jun-Air leaking
It was that not return valve (I’m learning a lot of new words) that was broken. Found a company specialised in air pressure and hydraulic just 15 minutes away. So now it’s been almost one hour without starting! Yay!
I’m so relieved! So happy and lucky that my son fixed it.
Now a proper cleaning up. Don’t want any oil residue ending up on a artwork.
Thanks!
