onsite Job in Scotland For a framer or Joiner

Post by MITREMAN »

Hi Framers,

The Project

A completed painting on canvas consisting of different sections to be made into individual panels to form one picture and hang on split batten to form a large wall mural.

I am looking for a Framer/Joiner willing to make frame panels from timber 25mm x 50mm (or thicker)with pocket hole joints approximately eight 8' x 4' panels

The panels would consist of an outer timber frame with 3 cross supports (one being a hanging split batten) and 4 corner braces with 6mm Birchwood ply glued to the front.

The canvases would be needed to be matched up to form one painting and glued on with a Ph7 neutral glue,

I have the method and the customer is willing to provide materials on site, provide some tools and accommodation etc.

The project is in Cove Scotland.

If anybody is interested please contact me and I will pass your detail onto my client.

I have attached a photo of part of the painting.

Many Thanks
Mitreman :D
