Is there a Pre-view frame limit.

Post by PeterG »

Hi,

I have been using pre-view for almost a year and have found it a helpful tool, does anyone know if there is a limit to the number of mouldings that can be stored, I am up to about 600 with another 300 to go. Also can a copy of the files be made, it's taken ages enter all the details and I'd hate to loose them if the hard drive fails or I change computers.

Thanks

Pete

The theoretical maximum is 2 billion, but you'll run out of disk space before reaching that.

Looks like you are operating without a safety net there Pete. For your peace of mind, I suggest that you back up the
C:\Program Files\Pre-View\ folder, including all sub-folders, on a regular basis. A large capacity USB pen drive would be ideal for this purpose. Even better get two or more and use them in rotation.

Thanks, I think it'll take me the rest of my life to reach 2 billion.
