Shadow box help ? (beginner)

Hi Everyone !
I have been tying flies (fishing) for several years now and would like to try and set some in a frame.
The ones I've seen so far are framed in a shadow box which looked really effective.
Can anyone help with suggestions regarding a good book and advice on what equiptment I might need.

Take a look at the display boxes on my website, if it is something like those you want,( they could be are easily adapted) drop me an email and I will talk you through the construction, tools etc.
