gardening time

Post by mikeysaling »

suppose todays kids garden 'friends' would have ak 47's - this made me laugh and as i recall the picture on u tube is bigger than the original on our 9 inch bush (is that politically correct) thinking about it now i think bill and ben must have been brought up in essex - sounds like it anyway. I'm sure they must had had learning difficulties though.

Bill and Ben in the bath.

(Bill) "Flobble-obble-obble-obble"

(Ben) "Eh"?

(Bill) "Nothing - I just farted" - an oldie but a goodie.

We never had a TV until I was 8 - it was a 'Baird' - exclusive, I think, to Radio Rentals - remember those days when everyone rented TVs? ('course you do - duh!)

Previous to that I used to go to my mate's house across the street once a week to watch The Adventures of William Tell.

But my fave Watch with Mother show was Pogles Wood.

william tell - yes remember it well - what was his name conrad ? also the pogles was that clip something about elton john? they should bring all these programs back on daytime tv - would probably get people off their 'welfare' paid arses and get em back to work. mind you - what mothers watch anything with their kids these days ? they don't even watch the little darlings at all!

we need a new regime - i may suggest to dave and nicky - turn off tv from 7am to 7pm . and the size of your tele proportionate to your taxable income - ie no taxable income = 0" screen!
