I envy you - how far from the action are you - walking distance, train, bus?

Good game this evening - I was hoping Holland would not just beat Uruguay, but humilate them, after Uruguay only being there instead of Ghana due to blatant bad sportsmanship - and then the team'country hailing the offender as a hero.

(The ref should have gone over to the linesman and said "Listen mate, you saw the ball go over the line - RIGHT?!!! - and then the whole team should have been banned from International games for 4 years while we also declared war on the country!)

Anyway - there I was this evening watching the game, and suddenly my wife came out with "You really get on my nerves at times you know"!

I was so shocked I almost dropped my vuvuzela!

About 20 km from town center John - drove in by car but the bus and train services were so upgraded for the event that I suppose a 2 km dive to the station would have sufficed as well. i also wanted Uruguay thrashed but they were totally engulfed by orange fans at all the gathering areas, fan zones, fan walks waterfront etc Remember Uruguay dumped our local team as well so I don't think there was one local fan dressed in blue and white - quite a stunning event and I initially thought it would be a huge embarrassment.
