researching something for an artist - anyone know of a moulding supplier who sells a narrow hockey in maple or sycamore - unfinished.

has to be a hockey and has to be narrow & pale

Simons do some unfinished maple, but the closest would be a 'cushion' - however, depending on the quantity they will probably make what you want. Reckon Rose & Hollis would be a better bet though.

How easy is it to pin maple, my experience in other field with this timber is that it is bloody hard!!!!

Norfolk mouldings have a large range of barewood profiles and they can be made in whichever timber you need. Minimum order is 100ft.
