Anybody else find the quality of this board to be very iffy at the moment.
I like the board - well the artcare range to be precise - but I have had soo many marked boards - boards with dirty edges because the flimsy polythene bags have split - even boards with streaks in them - I shall be forced to change suppliers if the QC doesnt improve - anybody else experiencing similar problems?

Hi Roboframer - good to see you back.
Yes I do get them direct - and yes the problem has been on the white boards - but then they are not so obvious on darker colours. To be fair to Nielsen they have looked at the problem and are very fair in the way that they have credited me for duff boards - But theres nothing more infuriating than making up a job only to find a deep speck of "grit" that cant be removed without it causing an unacceptable mark.
I have had problems with: french white - spanish white and wheat.

I've encountered the odd case where a hard black bit of grit turns up on the bevelled cut, probably not more than three times in the last couple of years, but so far only with the standard white core board. I am still switching my stock over to the Artcare and have never encountered anything similar with Artcare so far.
I've sort of concluded that it's just one of those things we have to live with!
