Gunnar F1 Hybrid - Hints & Tips

I have been using a Gunnar F1 Hybrid for a while and have a couple of things I can't work out.

1: If I am cutting a double mount in the same colour, can I cut both layers out of the same sheet at the same time? or do I have to cut one layer at a time.

2: How do you nest multi layered mounts. I can create the nest, but the countdown doesn't work as I need to cut each layer individually??
