Professional Framing workshop - for sale

Post by Royall »

A full professional picture framing workshop (Morso, mouncutter, underpinner, hot press, jetmounter, oval 6, excalibur 5000 ) is offered for sale and includes everything you'll need to start your own business - all you need are the premises!

This equipment used to belong to one of my ex-trainees who's business unfortunately went bust during the recession and to help him out I've bought it from him with a view to selling it on and making a small profit for myself. It's currently stored at my workshop on the outskirts of Bristol. If required the buyer can also be given full training on how to use the equipment at no extra cost.

As you will see from the serial numbers of the equipment listed below everything is approx 4 years old (apart from the Oval 6) and has only had light occasional use. In fact the equipment has not been used at all in the last 13months. To say that it is in immaculate condition is an understatement and the asking price of £5495 reflects this.

Morso F Deluxe (serial no. 73831) with metric engraved scale
Cassese CS88 foot operated underpinner (serial no. 7630)
Ultimat Gold 1200mm mountcutter (serial no. K2372)
HGP 260 vacuum drymounting hot press approx 1220mm x 910mm with it’s own custom stand (serial no. HGP/260/1274)
Excalibur 5000 1500mm panel cutter (serial no. K2405)
Drytac/jetmounter 26” (660mm) cold mounting/laminating roller which has never been used and still wrapped up (serial no. JM26/0446)
Oval 6 oval/circle mouncutter (serial no. E2163) – approx 7 years old

(Please note that each piece of equipment is the manufacturer’s latest/current model.)

To buy this complete framing workshop new would cost you, including vat, just under £12,000 from a trade supplier and at less than half this price it's is going to be an absolute bargain to anyone who’s serious about becoming a professional picture framer. The equipment has been priced to sell, however because of it's condition it's been priced realistically and will not be "given away" so it will only be of interest to someone who's serious about entering the framing profession. Everyone's heard the expression that a bad workman "blames his tools" - not with this equipment you wont! Please remember that this equipment is probably going to last you for over 25 years which equates to just £200 per year!

In it’s short life it’s all been extremely well looked after and maintained and has no scratches, scuff marks or dents and is in superb “as new” condition and apart from purchasing a few small hand tools/sundries this equipment is all that you'll need to be able to offer your customers a full professional, bespoke, custom framing service.

All equipment is to be sold as one and will not be split. Because of the number of items and weight involved it’s collection only. Payment is to be “cash on collection” and viewings are welcomed so please contact me on 07967 138530 to arrange a convenient time for you to visit me in Bristol or should you wish to talk about the equipment in more detail.
