You will get better folds Trinity, if you use your mountcutter rather than a scalpel to score the base rectangle. Just cut your mount to size and then set up your mountcutter as if you were going to cut a window to the exact dimensions of the base, but adjust the cutting head so that it only cuts half way through the board.
Pre CMC, this is how we did it. It works a treat.
