Did the earth move for you last night?

Post by Graysalchemy »

Anyone feel the earth quake in Yorkshire last night?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-12109625

I didn't as I am the right side of the Pennines   , but i did have a premonition of the earth quake.

I had just completed 150 frames for a hotel yesterday (yes I did work the bank holiday). They were stacked up on my bench awaiting to be wrapped and put on a pallet today, but at half past four I thought

What happens if there is an Earthquake all these frames will smash :o :o :o :o

So I wrapped them. Low and behold there was an earth quake.

Am I psychic or like one of those animals that can detect a natural disaster.

Cheers

I felt it - 3 very short rumbles at about 9:05pm - I thought it was my stomach at first. I went on the BGS website, but it didn't show up until nearly midnight. I normally miss these kind of things - so it made a change to say - "what on earth was that"...
Your too late I'm afraid - I retired in April 2024 :sun:
