b]Hi - It's time to retire and emigrate to our allotment.
We have a Keencut Ultimat Gold about 10 years old for sale - its in good condition but it could do with recalibrating and a small steadying allan screw replacing in the cutting head. Not looking for a fortune around £250 should do it. We also have a Morso foot operated guillotine and blades in good condition (price around 800 pounds) and an old Casesse 486 air driven 2 position underpinner (this definitely wants a service!) around 200 pounds. 1. what size is the Ultimat Gold please?
2. when you say recalibrating - is this something I can do, or is it a factory job?
3. is it the screw that has worn out, or the thread it screws into?
4. what condition are the bearings in?

Hi Gus - its a 40 inch ultimat - bearings are fine. I think its the screw as it does up tight initially then works itself loose. The calibrating can be done by yourself it's not that far out. We have never had any great problems with it and its in a nice clean condition.
