I'm looking for a supplier of poly-prop bags which are a standard size
i.e 8 x 10 to 20" x 16" to put ready cut mounts into.
Any ideas??

yup surprised they have not got what we need, John. We get the white backed clearface bags from them, but the sizes are metric and closest to a 16x12 is a 400x300 and its a bit tight for squeezing in a mount and a back.Merlin Framers wrote:Kev
Have you tried CARTERS at Pool, Redruth
I'll have a look at Kaptain.Koptor's link - Cheers Cap'n.

Faced with the same problem I've just bought a large roll of cellophane (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0077220691). At £19.90 for 120 metres x 800 mm wide it seemed like a bargain way of making bags.
My idea is to card a piece of thin barrier card to the size of the mount, cut a piece of cellophane an inch larger all round, fold it over and secure with ATG tape.
I've not tried it yet but it will save stocking different sizes of bags and never having one of the right size.
