Keencut Laser blades

Post by Nearlygotitright »

I've just bought a Keencut Laser 1200 as an upgrade from an old Logan Simplex, largely as a result of my reading on this forum. I have noted one or two different opinions on the best blades for this board and I'd appreciate advice on this and also on best sources of supply.

Hi Nearlygotitright,

Wecome to the forum.

The blade you require is the KC-80 Keencut 080 Blades (CA50-010)

You can get these from Framers Equipment Ltd.

You will find it at the link below.

You really do need the Kenncut 080 blades as they are much stiffer and because modern mountboards are so dense, the stiffness is important! They stay sharp for longer too!

Thank you very much for the advice - just what I needed. I've placed an order so hopefully swervy bevels will cease.
