Jumbo Mountboard

Good evening - not posted on here recently but here goes.....


I need 10 mounts cut to 35"x35" (overall size) with a 5" border (4 sides). Obviously this requires jumbo board and as Lion don't like to send out these sizes I'm somewhat stuck. One way would be to get them cut to size and bevelled as this greatly reduces the size for transit.

Do any of you know of anyone in the Bristol / Cirencester / Stroud area who may have such a stock holding or the ability to cut the mounts?

You should get a deal on a pck of ten I would have thought then its just a matter of trimming 25" of the long side and 5" of the short. This will leave you with some useful sized off cuts as well as ten 25" x 25" fall outs.

Have you tried contacting Wessex? They will cut mounts to size for you and deliver - so it might be worth giving them a ring.

I'm fairly new to the Bath area but I've got a Zund M1600 computerised mount cutter and I can cut jumbo boards for you with no problem up to a thickness of 4.1mm.
