How hot will an Ademco 2226 go up to?

Post by Not your average framer »

I want to try using some hot blocking foils in my Ademco 2226 heated press. It will need to go upto about 130 degrees for this to work, but I'm a little edgy about doing this in case something bad happens to the press.

Does anyone know what sort of temperature the press is o.k. to go up to?

Thanks in anticipation,
Mark

Well the dial at normal dm temp is only halfway so I presume it's safe to go higher. In fact I think I knocked the knob one day and it went right round the clock.

Still working. :D

(That is 130F???)

Perhaps, I'll have to find another way of doing this!
