Please don't panic...
RESULT !! I managed to get the last half a dozen Jerry cans this afternoon from Halfords, I had to queue at the Petrol station for an hour to fill them up but it was worth the effort . As there's no room in the garage I've managed to store the cans in the Boiler room, I thought I'd better stock up before everyone starts to panic buy .....

Re: Please don't panic...
I had to get Diesel for the Disco yesterday so went to one of the local filling stations I use and was amused to be told the following tale by the Manager, who also told me I qualify as a truck so I can use the truck pump which should not run short in order to keep things moving!
"At about 2 this afternoon a guy came in and filled his car with over 80 litres of fuel and then proceeded to fill several fuel cans, not much wrong with that you might think, but I asked him why he was buying so much as he was the first to come in and do so. His reply was, " My cars a diesel but thats going to be alright, I just wanted to make sure this one was usable for when the PETROL tanker drivers go on strike"
Thing is, the manager told me that several people had come out with the same thing later in the afternoon...........just goes to show how much people actually listen.

Haha people are funny the way they panic buy....
....just in case people don't already know, it is illegal to carry more than one can of fuel unless licenced to do so. Don't want you getting stopped by the police and given a ticket. Not a lot of people know that

Lets see if we can collectively convince the public there is going to be a shortage of picture frames....

I couldn't get out of the carpark at Asda trafford Park this morning at 7.30am because the traffic queing for the petrol station was blocking the road out .
Petrol stations are evidently not happy because people are filling up with small amounts and then paying with a credit card, the 'profit' they make doesn't even cover the card transaction.
