Handfinishing
Is it possible for the Handfinishing to have it's own section on the forum, seem the Members sections has been taken over by Handfinishing

Re: Handfinishing
I was trying to keep some of the hand finishing secrets to forum members only. The original hand finishing thread is no longer active and I will now lock that thread.
It will slowly sink down the page as newer threads in member only are generated.

Re: Handfinishing
That may well be so, but your follow-up question and answers is going well, and I would suspect your one about brushes will as well. It's that when I come on the forum, and quickly scan the sections to see which has been updated that day, I see that the Members section has so I click on it to view it thinking might pick up some juicy gossip/ argument , but it's only the handfinishing (which at this time I'm not interested in ) so I've wasted my time no offence intendedNot your average framer wrote:I was trying to keep some of the hand finishing secrets to forum members only. Re: Handfinishing
I've no problem with NYAF's hand finishing discussions taking over the members section, I was just thinking that a section for hand finishing techniques and photo examples would be a good idea as it is such a big subject.

Re: Handfinishing
I think that after the current interest in hand finishing that the subject will go back to it's previous level of activity, which it a lot less that the current level.

Re: Handfinishing
Well is was only a suggestion, but at the moment there are these threads running on Hand finishing
GENERAL DISCUSSIONS
Distressing silver guilt paint.
HELP!
Shabby Chic Finish
Handfinishing
THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY
Black & Foil Finish
Stacked & Hand Finish
MEMBERS
Hand finishing event , follow up Q & A
Handfinishing - Paints, Brushes + Finishes
Training for Hand Finish Framing (locked)
It it had it's own section, members could then find it easier to find the thread they are looking for, I'm sure you could make it a Members only section if you wanted

Re: Handfinishing
Hi Steve,
While I may be a moderator, I don't have any control over whether we would have a hand finishing section, or not. You need to speak to John about that.

How about a dedicated sticky topic in the Good the Bad and the Ugly section?
