Re: framing a TV
A little more info would help. Is it a flat panel tv? I'd guess it is, so how deep is it? How big is it? 19" or 50"? Deep rebated something held onto the wall independently of the tv with some kind of flush fitting while the tv will be already be on the wall?

1000 x 620mm LG flat screen ,Tv is to bolted to the wall so the frame only has to sit on it the molding he iwants is Simon SARDO05 not really ideal but he would not entertain a deep molding .

Maybe that's just as well, a deep-rebated moulding might affect ventilation.

Re: framing a TV
Some of these TVs create a fair bit of heat which vents at the top which I would say needs careful consideration.

Have you checked out the Frame My TV website? Worth a browse for some ideas, offset clips would be my first thought as well.

I have supplied frames for TV's, they usually get attached to the telly so air still circulates. however i have made ones to frame a TV in an alcove and ones which are then glazed with mirror glass then when the tv is switched on goes clear

Re: framing a TV
I know Frinton Frames (over in Frinton on Sea) do TV framing with really elaborate frames - and they gave us one handy hint. Make sure you always leave the remote control sensor clear and not covered by the frame. They learnt that the hard way

I'd like to see one framed with mount.
With washlines and a fillet. And Museum glass.
