Both mean the same, but is there a preferences as in framing your photos/artwork/collectibles - as you see I favour the i but would you spell a.
Just putting an advert togehter.

Here is what the Oford English Dictionary suggest:
"Collectable can also be spelled collectible: collectible is usually used in the senses 'worth collecting' and 'an object valued by collectors', whereas collectable is usually used to mean 'able to be collected'."

Personally, I would use the a because to my eye the i don't look right.

I think.
Although they mean the same, my mind reads collectable as a verb, collectible as a noun.Something is collectable, something is a collectible. I'm sure it would be i in the US because the books spell it that way.
