Large contemporary frame and finish in Ali leaf

Aluminium leaf is very cheap to buy and works very well on some projects. The leaf was over a pale grey bole ground using a very thin wundasize. Left for a day then sized, the entire surface was given a very thin off white clay/size wash which softens the leaf. the slip was finished with a pale pink then ochre wash and sealed before a light grey wash was applied over the top. Hope you have a go at this one sometime.
