inmes/omga/similar mitre saw wanted

Post by JamesC »

If anybody has a single or maybe double mitre saw that will cut wider mouldings (not ones that only go up to 80mm I want at least the same as a Morso) they no longer want, I am in the market.

Private message me if you do. I'm near York but can pick up.

Prefer ones with clamps, and support arms with measuring stops.

Got sorted with an ex demo OMGA SACA (specialist picture framing saw) thanks.

I'm happy with it so far - got it luckily for much less than a Lion Inmes and think it is a better machine - maybe the top brand for singles. It has framers 45 degree clamps unlike the Inmes.

Could do with a right hand arm extension but I'm working on a solution for that.

A double mitre would have been nice but noisy, far more expensive, and I couldn't have got it upstairs in a seperate room very easily.

It's for wide, hard and soft moulding and works a treat, even though I haven't got the best blade yet.
