Well done that lad & all the forces guys who have made the games a safe place in such a hazardous world!!!
Also on a framing note - John Hunter from Abbey Glass has been doing his bit to maintain peace in our realm - I am sure he won't mind me mentioning it - now the games are over - "Johnny Bosnia" as he is known to a few of us - has been "keeping the peace" - in the way that only a Belfast army guy can
Wel done - EVERYONE!!!
Your too late I'm afraid - I retired in April 2024
I am friends with Tony Minichello so I just might get to frame one . I have framed Olympic participation medals ( all winter ones)and framed 2 shirts for the British volley ball team ( woman's ) 2 of whom brought them in.
I have in at the moment some stuff common welth silver medals for shooting .
but so far I have not got my paws on an actual Olympic medal .
5 more volleyball shirts brought in on Saturday ( match worn ) this time from the mens team along with participation certificates photos and some coin things that the athletes get., no medals yet .
