i have developed a sinful dependency on mitre mate / bond loc / call it what you want. i'm sure it's not big or clever. however, i wondered if anyone had a similar habit and whether they had formulated any 'rules' for the use of this stuff.
originally it seemed a miracle product which allowed me to motor through the frame-building but more and more i find that the glue doesn't activate (different timbers work more or less well?) and also that, while i get a very tight look on the front of the mitre, the back can sometimes gape dreadfully.
i'm back on the woodglue for now, but surely there is a place for the quick stuff... any words of experience welcome.
guilty secret ...
