Minigraf 4 (3 position)

Post by Smiffy »

I have recently bought a second hand (but nearly new) minigraf 4, 3 position underpinner. I have seen it working etc and had a go with it before the purchase.

I've now got it set up and running, but I'm having trouble when trying to set where I want the wedges to shoot through (not fussed about the 3rd, but the 1st and 2nd...).

It is different to my old 2 position minigraf, in that the air pressure needs to be on to move the gages on this machine.

What I'm doing...

1. Air flow on
2. Unscrewing position 1 lever (won't move)
3. Nothing else because it won't move!

......any ideas? I'm quite confident that its me monging it as opposed to the machine playing up....

Thanks!

when in position 1 the air pressure is stopping you move the stop, press the lever/button/pedal , to make it move to position 2 this will allow you to move stop 1.

I figured out that method works. But you can't move it up and down to the desired spot easily - if it's wrong you have to keep guessing until its where it needs to be.

On my old 2 position machine, you just flipped the air off, then you could slide it about to where you want it with ease...
