Air force badge?

Post by IFGL »

I think this is aimed at Mikey, can anyone identify theses, they were found in a top pocket of a WWII air force jacket that we are about to frame, I think they go on the sleeve cuffs but that is just a guess.

Thanks in advance.

I the the the Kings crown is a Flight Sergeats crown worn on the sleeve above the chevrons. Not sure about the other. Looks like an officers cap badge but with an added scroll.

No one I have spoken to seems to know exactly what the second badge is, he was a warrent officer, there are 2 marks on his cap that seem to correspond with the badge.

Think the crown goes on the sleeve. I have an old RAF guidebook somewhere. If I can root it out I'll have a look.
