Flyers
Hi All,
I'm looking to do some flyers but I'm stuck on what to say on the flyer any advice or ideas would be great please.
I have only just started my business but done a few frames and people are very happy so far but just need to promote my business a bit more.
Thanks
Adam

Re: Flyers
My flyer includes this photo for visual appeal:
Include a map of how to find you.
Make your wording brief and to the point and encourage visits.
A promotion like "10% off on production of this leaflet" will help you judge response.
Include your post code for Sat Nav users.
Shop around for prices from printers they vary a lot!
Personally I would always give a land line number and full postal address as this gives the impression of a more established business.
Better weather now on the way to get out delivering.
But cropped so it does not take up too much room.Include a map of how to find you.

Re: Flyers
Nothing about the design but on the pricing front I got 5000 for £99. Printing.com had a promotion at the time, designed it myself and just uploaded it to their site. Couldn't find anywhere else with that sort of pricing, descent glossy prints too (A5). Best of luck

Re: Flyers
Adam send me a PM and I will give you details of a good printer in Peterborough at really good prices. You will have to do your own artwork though to get the best deal.

Re: Flyers
That's quite reasonable for 5000 of them and I'm surprised no one has mentioned vistaprint is that because they are too expensive? Or can get better elsewhere?

Re: Flyers
Good tips from j2m.
When designing flyers you need to think..AIDA....this should flow out as you read the flyer.
Attention....some to grab attention...good heading....or a question etc
Interest......some more detail....the what
Desire....a hook.....the why
Action......what to do by when phone , call , visit etc include web address also.
Then dont expect too much from first leaflet drop.....instead do a campaign of 4 _ 6 leaflet drops ...one each month to the same people. You will have a greater effect targeting 1000 homes 5 times.....than 5000 homes once. If you change the messge for each drop...keep the same look , feel and layout so continuity will be maintained, helping to build your brand.
