backing table plan frame

Hi everyone
I am making a table plan for my wedding and was wondering what should use to back the names
I have the frame and will be removing the glass as the tables and names will be pn double sided foam
I have seen mat boards online
But I am quite clueless as have never done this before
Any advice will be appreciated
