We are looking to buy in bulk orders of sundries like D rings, plastic corners, kraft tape etc...any ideas about suppliers other than Lion and D J Simons?

To buy sundries in bulk you could try http://www.ukpictureframingsupplies.co.uk. You can also import them directly from alibaba.com which showcases many Chinese manufacturers (I know - but it is a global economy these days) who can send a pallet load of mixed sundries such as d-rings, string, screws, etc.

This means you can still buy in small quantites of each item, Instead of importing a 20ft container of the same product.

Not saying anybody should rush across but the Chinese do have a massive expo for all things framing - http://en.cafexpo.cn/, so are very much getting into the market.
