Stand from frames

Post by pramsay13 »

I'm going to take a stall at a local event and I am looking for little stands to put some sample frames on.
Any idea what these are called or where to get maybe 5 or 6 of them?

Display easels or even plate stands. Simons sell display easels, maybe Lion sell both?

Thanks John, the display easels are a bit much. I was thinking the wee plastic legs, similar to the plate stands although some of them look a bit flimsy

There are the little wire ones and the fold-out plastic/wood ones. Have a look on eeeeebay. :)

Or you can knock some up from sq timber with a bit of Morso joinery. :D

We've used these before for a display on a table http://www.lionpic.co.uk/product-search ... earch=3909

They won't take anything too big or heavy but for small things they are ideal and they fold down after use.

I use white plastic coated steel wire plate stands which I got from a local hardware shop. They come in a range of sizes and are good value for money. The white PVC coating is a little bit non-slip which I find helpful when standing things on melamine shelving, etc.
