Harwickman (Alan Ralph) from Scotland posted this Christmas poem on the US Grumble.
I’m sure he won’t mind me reposting it here.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.

“For all framers at Christmas”
‘Now, there’s no cutting corners at Christmas’
said the boss at the Framing Shop.
‘Well then, how do we make the frames and the mounts?’
said the gang to the man at the top.
‘Come on now, you know what I mean.
Lets get busy we’ve plenty to do.’
‘We’ll all pull together’ said the boys and girls
‘if you’ll promise to help with a few.’
So they set off to work on the orders
to be done by the end of the week,
but the boss hadn’t reckoned how bad he was;
out of touch, and well past his peak!
So the boys and girls got together
And decided to dump the boss
They wanted their own promised bonus
and not their impending loss.
They cut and joined, mounted and glazed,
from morning to last thing at night
They painted and polished their beautiful frames
and assembled everything right.
On Christmas Eve the boss man appeared,
and to everyone’s great delight,
he paid compliments to each of the team
and their bonus was paid out that night.

Sounds like someone has way too much time on their hands.
Nice touch Dermot.
Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2005 to all.
