New to the industry.. in fact.. not really started as yet! however, I would like to frame an historic postcard so that both sides can be seen. obviously i want to protect the card. I am sure there is an established method for this..but I just dont know it yet any ideas appreciated.
If you want top see the whole thing (float mount) you could encapsulate it with clear archival polyester film, if not it could sit in back-to-back reverse bevel mount apertures.
It sits in the back-to-back bevels like this <------------> with no tape or adhesive required. The mounts need to be glued together as close to the edges as possible so the card cannot slip down between them.
You could always photocopy the back of the card and stick it on the back of a normal frame.
