I'm worried that I ought to be servicing/lubricating my (all be it fairly new) CS199MXL but the translated instructions are hard to follow.
Advice from fellow owners appreciated.
Servicing Cassese underpinners
Re: Servicing Cassese underpinners
I've got the 299xml mk2, and prior to that the mk1 and I've only ever lubricated the hammer with a smidge of moly grease. I've in fairness never looked at the manual for either of them.
Before anyone gives me a good drubbing for my rash behaviour, I'm a time served and fairly well qualified mechanical engineer from a previous life.

Even more of a reason to give you good drubbing Dave
It is the hammer and block which need taking out, cleaning and lubricating. If the 199 is anything like the 3099 then you need also to keep an eye of the where the main cylinder is attached to the hammer/clamp as they can work their way loose, in my experience.
Its worth lubricating the bed with silicon as well from time to.
I am not a well qualified mechanical engineer so I get my machine service by Neil Stout every year

If you're not sure what to do, would it be worth taking it to someone who would be able to service it for you? Usually people have it done annually or maybe twice annually depending on usage.
