Poster size 'bags'

Post by Comfyjumper »

Having purchased four print browsers I wondered what would be the best way to 'package' small to medium size unmounted posters? i have enough pulp board to act as a backing/protection, but am unsure what sort of 'celo' type bag to use....I want to keep costs reasonably low if possible.

The last time I ordered something like this, it was delivered with protective boards on either side with a layer of bubble wrap and bin bags as protection and parcel tape to strengthen the perimeter!! That being said, it arrived in perfect condition!

You can buy browser sleeves into which you can just slide the posters. Not cheap. :?

Or....

Get a roll of polyprop wrapping film from Lion (page 116) and wrap the posters to the boards you already have and stack them in the browser.

Kwik - your reply is regards to packaging, not display.

We use cellophane for things that do not fit in to the browser sleeves - you can get it from florists/florists supplies.

What do you use Kwik?

We back and/or mount items and wrap using florists cellophane, it's only about £10 for a roll that lasts for ages.

Give Fulcrum Films a ring on 01228-560526. Very helpful. Standard sizes and made to measure.

We used to buy cellophane from florists supplies but found it not ideal for wrapping prints, we found this better it is much clearer, and all round better.
