Morso F problem

Post by Iain »

I have got my Morso F with the blades stuck in the closed position. The handle which adjusts the amount taken off with each chop is fully to the right. How do I open the blades or move the handle left to open the blades? Thanks

Sounds like the linkage has come adrift somehow. Have a look underneath.

Thanks. No the linkage looks OK it is just that the blade block will not move backwards.

Sorry also it might be that the packaging/security pin has broken off in the whole. How long should it be. Mine is about 40mm but one end has a funny shape!

Can you post some pics? I'm not sure I understand the question.

Is this the first time you have used the Morso? If so then maybe it's just a case of not realising that the handle has to be depressed to disengage the ratchet teeth before being pulled back towards you.
