Morso Spring Repair

Post by JohnMcafee »

Caught without a spare when a pedal return spring broke, and none locally available, I had a go at a DIY fix.

A new top hook was created by twisting out the last coil - see photo.

Total down time 30 minutes, which included about 10 minutes of fruitless phoning around.

It works great, and I expect it to last at least until a replacement arrives (and probably a lot longer).

Not so hard really as long as you start by clamping the coil firmly between your teeth. :)
