Chop for the larger, more ornate, more costly mouldings and length for the simpler stuff. Estlite allows you to specify a mark up per moulding so I just account for the additional cost of chop in the mark up percentage and consistently use either chop or length for each. The additional mark up isn't much when considering reduced labour and no waste.
I have no problem cutting hard wood mouldings on the Morso but then I do have a set of Framers Corner blades on.
