That's what I would have thought, STC also fits their ideal customer profile very well I would have thought.

STC do you do much with them on the moulding side?

nope because they wouldnt budge on board prices


i use on average about 500m of moulding a month too

That is madness. I have found that Arqadia are bending over backwards to do business with commercial framers like us as they see it as a growth sector at the moment. That seems madness that they wouldn't give you a decent price with that potential spend.

But then if you are happy with what you are using and the discounts available then stick with it. If not I would take it up with head office. It may because you are in Ireland and the euro and all that but it does seem strange.

....seems like I poked a hornet's nest with this post lol...! If anyone's interested my question came purely from a supplier point of view. I was going to offer the daft mare of a customer a wessex moulding but I don't have any conservation mountboards from Wessex to show her. So it would have meant showing her the good range of mountboards instead.

Anyway, she bought a frame in a shop in the end so no requirement!

Your're lucky, I haven't seen my Arqadia rep since the Spring Fair, asked for some samples, got the wrong ones :head:
