Hello JGF
Yes of course it would work with 4 bottles of wine...
First, It has to be good vino...no rubbish
Second, As here in Gods country it has to be shared with good company, because you cant light a fire on your own.
And Most importantly Third..the pleasure of burning money or moulding is not easy, especially when you see something in the fire that you refer to, and have made a wee bit of money from.
Life's not easy but it is when you are watching it going up in flames, with a dram in your hand, well, thats the way it is. Norrie
What do you do with your Morso excrement?

Hi Norymags,
You sound like a good friend of mine. He's a bit of a pyromaniac, too. One of my favourite storys of his (told round a firelit hearth, of course!) was the one where he had finished building his dream home on a farm. His family had been living in the original but very dilapedated house on the property. The evening after they moved into their new abode, he grabbed a bottle of good red, a few matches, and a gallon of four star then headed for the wreck...

I use some of it as potpourri!
Why don't you bag it up put in your fragrence oil and SELL it! If you have lots of different colours of moulding then it looks quite nice too. Pick up some pine cones - lots about this time of year, add them and hey presto a quick buck!
If you look in shops, this stuff can be a squid a bag or more. Easy money.
Here is a link to how to make it if you want to get posh about it.

I use my chippings to light my fire with they're great for getting the house warm really quickly especially in the cold weather, as for my mount board scrap if i can i put them into frames made from scrap and sell them at car boot sales if they're not big enough i give them to the local school and they use them to display the childrens artwork or they make cards out of them as for my glass i take it to the dump in a cardboard box we don't have a glass recycling bin so it gets dumped in with the rest my parents greenhouse is forever being attacked with footballs so i go to alternate recycling dumps i have three all within reach of me so i never take glass to the same one.
I always thought that you shouldn't put picture glass in at the bottle bank as it melts at a far higher temperature. It clogs up furnace with lumps at the bottom.
