It so!
I am familiar with English Lion. I also am indignant, that in my opinion, the Russian Lions discredits reputation of UK. It is constantly spoken about it among frameworker, and also my opinion based on dialogue with their managers.

But, how much I know, they are financial independent from UK LION.

However I would not wish to discuss here this company. They conduct business as are able.

However many frameworker began to address to me for advice. That I have told the opinion in occasion of FATG.
Because I have a unique site in Russia on which I try to place the helpful information on our business, including I publish the professional advice.

Therefore your opinion was very interesting to me.

Hi John

The problem I have with Lion is that they have a minimum order of £300 for overseas which means that the small items I can't source locally are not available to me from Lion, prints, technical books I can have shipped from other suppliers and they reach me in 10 days.

For instance I tried to locate an Ecobra ruling pen locally which turned out to be impossible (most of the local framers don't even use matboard), it would be much more convenient to place a few items like that on order in one go but I don't have that facility with Lion.

The delivery charges on a £300 order would be prohibitive in any case,( I was quoted £500-600 for shipping an underpinner from uk to malaysia)

Luckily there's a lot of suppliers who don't mind nipping out to the post office to send small items.

Congrats to Lion on winning the customer service award from the FATG !
