Do not miss last episode tonight at 9pm.
Anyone else a fan - absolutely brilliant - very un p.c. in the 21st cent.
Little enough on telly - so this is a real treat.

Good to hear there will be a follow up series Kev.
Fantastic and well thought out ending to the last episode.
Nearly had a heart attack when the TV test page girl appeared the other side of Sam's door.
Great TV.

'Life on Mars' follow up 'Ashes to Ashes' starts this Thursday at 9.00pm BBC1.
No Sam this time , but should be just as good.
Not to be missed.

I think it may take a little longer to get into Ashes to Ashes. I'm currently working my way through LOM season 2 and found Ashes to be a little forced in places.
Of course there were some good bits, especially when she was all over the car bonnet, and the multiple references to 80's cop shows.
I dunno, I'll watch it again and then see how next weeks goes I guess.

Some quite good lines....
Hunt: "I'll be the 'A' Team"
Drake: "God have mercy!"
And the term "Bolly Knickers" is likely to be in the OED before long.

It might have been better if they had brought Gene Hunt into the present day, could just imagine him being called to deal with a group of socially excluded disenfranchised persons (armed blaggers), and leaping out of his cortina with his team of community support officers, ASBO's in hand.
Much more effective than " Guns down you're surrounded by armed
B-----d's!" (My favourite LOM line)

haven't seen any of Ashes to Ashes, mainly due to forum lurking, but the idea doesn't appeal to me as much as life on mars did.
