Here's an advance note of a special day we'll be having at Lion in Birmingham on July 3. That happens to be almost exactly 30 years since we started in business.

The day will focus on computers in art and framing. The exact format is still being detailed, but it will feature frame design and computerised visualisation, with the esteemed John McAffee making the journey over to be one of the tutors. The other major use of computers, inkjet printing, will be covered in some depth.

There will be other related tutorials and demos and the full programme will be announced in May. Tutorials and demos will be organised in small groups, so that everyone gets the maximum benefit. We expect strong interest and places will have to be limited, so we thought that we'd give Forumers an early opportunity to mark it in your diaries.
