Back of a retirement frame.

I'm needing to show colleagues names on the reverse of a retirement frame and would normally use a brown artbak or similar for the rear.
Any experiences of using other material please. I could use the Hotpress white display board or light mountboard, either of these overlaminated, to show the names ok. Do you think adhesive tape would stick ok to the laminate, and in any event brown tape on the white/ light background looks a bit iffy.
Any thoughts on this little teaser please. My plan is to use pencil for the signatures.

Write them on a piece of mountboard. Laminate it and put it on top of your normal backing. :D
