1. Does anyone know where I can get them please?
Not flimsy cello types, but the clear plastic wallets.
I've got some large drawings and paintings on paper that I'd like to put in a browser for sale, unframed, but protected in clear wallets.
Max dimensions 2ft x 3ft, which I think is A0 paper.
2. I'm thinking of framing little 5 inch x 5 inch paintings. They're linen pieces pva'd onto mdf board and painting in oil.
I've chosen the moulding for the series - in ivory/ cream. But would like to set the square painting into a cream colour soft wood panel = to look like a mount if you like.
Then measure the moulding frame round the outside of the mount setting.
No glass.
Is bolsa wood board maybe 2mm deep a good idea, which I can sand smooth and paint? I can cut the 5 x 5inch aperture out with a stanley knife, lay the midget painting into the settings.
Glue from the back with backing board and fix with tab arrows.
or is this a dumb idea? And I should buy flat moulding and mitre the "mount" effect. Does this make sense?
I'm not a framer, but do make my own frames.

Art shops sell portfolio sleeves but you will struggle to get them bigger than A1.
